'4K-Alleged' Augmented Reality Glasses Unveiled as 1080p, User Remains Unbothered by Resolution Difference'

Viture, a leading name in the augmented reality (AR) industry, is set to launch its latest offering – the Beast AR glasses – in October. The glasses are claimed to offer the sharpest resolution on the market, albeit with a slightly different approach to traditional 4K resolution.

The Beast AR glasses feature a display resolution of 1200p, which is technically less than 4K. However, Viture has employed advanced optical enhancements and color calibration to make the image appear sharper and clearer, almost like 4K. This is why the term "4K-like" has been used to describe the visual quality of these glasses.

The glasses use Sony’s Micro-OLED panel technology, renowned for its high brightness (up to 1280 nits) and accurate color reproduction (DeltaE less than 2). This technology, combined with the optical enhancements, boosts the perceived image quality, making it comparable to 4K screens.

Weighing approximately 88 grams, the Beast AR glasses are equipped with a depth sensor for spatial computing, Harman-tuned audio, and electrochromic dimming for both indoor and outdoor use. With a field of view of 58 degrees, these glasses are the most spec'd-out in Viture's current generation.

In addition to the Beast AR glasses, Viture is also releasing a higher-priced series, the Luma glasses, primarily for enterprise usage at $600. The Luma glasses are aimed at businesses seeking advanced AR technology for their operations.

For those interested in the Beast AR glasses, they can be found on Viture's official website. Priced at $549, these glasses offer a compelling blend of technology and affordability.

It's worth noting that Viture's previous AR glasses had an edge in clarity. The resolution of the Beast AR glasses is 50 percent sharper than the Viture Pro, setting a new standard for the company.

The Beast AR glasses are set to revolutionize the AR industry with their innovative approach to resolution and their impressive array of features. With their launch just around the corner, AR enthusiasts and professionals alike are eagerly awaiting October.
