AI Application Ecosystem Exchange Conference 2025 Initiated in Nanning, Hosted by China and ASEAN Countries
The China (Guangxi)-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Application Ecosystem Exchange Conference 2025 took place on September 18 at Wuxiang Cloud Valley AI Park in Nanning, China. The event, a flagship of the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo, aimed to integrate AI with the real economy and accelerate digital and intelligent transformation across the region.
Runjian Co., Ltd. launched the "AI Application Ecosystem Construction Initiative" during the conference, marking a significant step towards fostering AI collaboration in various sectors. The initiative was supported by parallel sub-forums covering AI in education, intelligent operations, AI agriculture, and AI healthcare. These forums initiated multiple joint training programs and cross-border cooperation projects.
The conference also witnessed the establishment of the China-ASEAN AI Industry-University-Research Innovation Alliance. This alliance is expected to strengthen partnership-building and technical collaboration with ASEAN in AI, promoting broader adoption of AI across the region.
Hou Gang, Mayor of Nanning, announced the acceleration of the development of the China-ASEAN AI Innovation Cooperation Center. Over 30 cross-border AI cooperation achievements were unveiled at the conference, signifying the progress made in AI collaboration between China and ASEAN.
The main forum was complemented by industry-specific sub-forums, an innovation exhibition, and networking sessions. The innovation exhibition area featured over 40 institutions and ASEAN enterprises showcasing real-world AI applications across various sectors.
One of the highlights of the conference was the launch of the "Star Computing Cloud Pool" inclusive computing power platform by Wuxiang Cloud Valley. Additionally, the AITIR multilingual real-time translation card was introduced, promising to break language barriers in AI collaboration.
The conference emphasized "AI+" collaboration, a concept that integrates AI with various industries to create synergistic effects. Mr. Yeoh Jun Hao, representative of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board, emphasized Malaysia's active introduction of AI technology in agriculture.
The National Robotics Exchange (NRX) talent platform was also launched during the conference, aiming to foster talent development in AI. More than 50 agreements were signed at the conference, marking a new phase in AI partnership between China and ASEAN.
Nanning has established a comprehensive AI industry chain ecosystem, positioning itself as a key hub for Chinese AI enterprises expanding into the ASEAN market. Guangxi will continue to strengthen partnership-building and technical collaboration with ASEAN in AI, promoting the broader adoption of "AI+" throughout the region.
