Apple's Upcoming iPad Pro M5 Promises Major Performance Boost

Apple's upcoming iPad Pro, the M5 model, is set to maintain familiar storage options and resemble its predecessor, the iPad Pro M4, while packing significant internal upgrades. Leaked by Russian YouTuber Wylascom, the iPad Pro M5 promises enhanced performance and is expected to launch this October or early 2026.

The iPad Pro M5 is rumoured to retain the same storage capacities as its predecessor, offering 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB options. Under the hood, it will sport a new M5 chip and increased RAM, up to 12GB, promising improved performance.

In terms of power, the iPad Pro M5 is expected to deliver approximately 10-15% more speed in single-core and multi-core tests compared to the iPad Pro M4. Its GPU is also set to be around 35% faster, enhancing graphics-intensive tasks. The device is expected to launch in October or early 2026, alongside other Apple devices like the M5 MacBook Pro, as part of a major event or press release.

Pricing for the iPad Pro M5 is expected to start at $999 for the 11-inch model and $1299 for the 13-inch model. With its enhanced performance and familiar design, the iPad Pro M5 is poised to be a significant update to Apple's premium tablet lineup.
