Austin Startup 443ID Raises $8M for Open-Source Intelligence in IAM
Austin-based cybersecurity startup 443ID has raised $8 million in seed funding. The company, co-founded in 2021 by Stephen Shoaff and Mark Batchelor, specialises in open-source intelligence (OSINT) for identity and access management (IAM).
443ID's platform transforms OSINT data into actionable insights at login speed, integrating with popular IAM platforms via API. The company's first products, OSINT Risk and SignalPrint, will be powered by its OSINT identity graph.
The funding round was co-led by Bill Wood Ventures and Silverton Partners. Despite public records, additional investors remain undisclosed. The funds will be used to hire experts in IAM, cybersecurity, cryptocurrency, adtech, and OSINT to build and enhance the company's core technology.
443ID's innovative approach to OSINT data promises to strengthen IAM security. With the recent funding, the company is well-positioned to expand its team and develop its OSINT identity graph, potentially revolutionising the cybersecurity landscape.
