AVT Unveils Compact VisionGauge 500 Series for Space-Constrained Labs
Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) has introduced a new, compact version of its VisionGauge 500 Series Digital Optical Comparator, designed to fit into smaller workshops and labs while maintaining high-quality inspection capabilities.
The new compact model, measuring 406 mm x 610 mm (16" x 24"), retains all the core features of the original 500 Series. It combines digital image processing with high-resolution optics and modern software for precise measurement and visual inspection of parts.
Key features include a motorized XY stage with 100 mm x 100 mm travel and 0.25-micron encoders, a motorized Z-axis with autofocus, and multi-magnification optics. The system supports flexible illumination options and an optional LASER module for depth and height measurement. It runs VisionGauge's software suite, offering CAD-based comparison, automated measurement, pattern matching, and full reporting capabilities. The compact 500 Series can be integrated with automation modules for use with robots, rotary stages, and external cell controllers, making it ideal for integration into tight production cells and quality control stations.
The compact VisionGauge 500 Series Digital Optical Comparator is now available, offering a complete shop-floor metrology solution for manufacturers with spatial limitations. For more information, visit www.visionxinc.com or contact local distributors.
