Leapmotor, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has announced the launch of the updated C11 SUV for the 2026 model year. The updated C11 is one of several refreshed models or new models Leapmotor has introduced this year, following the roll-out of the updated C16 SUV, updated C10 SUV, updated T03, and the all-new B10 SUV.

As of the end of June, Leapmotor's cumulative deliveries since its inception totaled 821,212 vehicles. In May, the C11 delivered 8,246 units, bringing its total deliveries to 251,862 units. In June, Leapmotor delivered 48,006 vehicles, marking the second consecutive month of record highs.

The updated C11 SUV boasts several notable updates and enhancements across its design, powertrain, and interior. Exterior design updates include a redesigned front bumper with integrated headlights, a unified look for the EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) variants, a new active trapeze-shaped grille common to both variants, and a single full-width taillight unit for a streamlined appearance.

Inside, the center console now features a large 17-inch 2K floating touchscreen, a new D-shaped two-spoke steering wheel, and a redesigned center tunnel that includes two wireless phone charging pads and a hidden storage compartment.

The updated BEV variant is built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform, delivering a peak motor power of 220 kW, an increase from the previous 200 kW. The EREV variant motor outputs a peak power of 200 kW. The BEV version offers a CLTC range of 640 km, providing extended driving range between charges.

The overall length, width, and wheelbase remain similar to the previous model, but the height has been slightly reduced. The updated C11 started pre-sales in China in early July 2025. Pricing starts at 158,800 yuan (~$22,160) for the EREV variant. The BEV variant prices start slightly higher with two variants at 165,800 yuan and 175,800 yuan.

The updated C11 will continue to offer BEV and EREV versions, with the price range for the BEV versions of the C11 in China being RMB 151,800 to RMB 205,800, and for the EREV variants, it is RMB 148,800 to RMB 185,800.

Leapmotor's continued growth is evident as it continues to expand its lineup and increase sales momentum. The updates to the C11 reflect this growth and aim to unify the styling of its variants, enhance motor performance and range, upgrade interior technology and comfort, while maintaining its competitive pricing in the mid-size electric crossover segment.

In addition to the updated C11, Leapmotor has also launched the B01 electric sedan for pre-sales, with a starting price of $14,770. However, the company has not yet released breakdown delivery figures for its individual models or provided specific details about the updated C11, such as its motor power output or battery capacity.
