Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor pours capital into Prozo, with the company's head honcho praising Kapoor's artistic insights.
In a significant move, Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Ranbir Kapoor has invested in Prozo, a tech-driven comprehensive logistics platform. Prozo aims to revolutionise the supply chain industry by offering an integrated platform that includes warehousing, freight, and fulfillment solutions.
Prozo's platform is equipped with a proprietary technology stack, enabling speed, consistency, and adaptability for brands. The startup's strategic investor, Ranbir Kapoor, believes that Prozo's systems give brands an edge in the market.
The company is currently powering over 150 brands, including well-known names like The Minimalist, Neemans, Comet, Beardo, Snitch, Traya, Powerlook, and PhonePe. Prozo's operations span across 42 tech-enabled warehouses covering 2.2 million sq. ft. and reach 24,000+ pin codes.
Dr. Ashvini Jakhar, the Founder & CEO of Prozo, is a former Naval doctor and McKinsey consultant. Under her leadership, Prozo has achieved an annual revenue run-rate of Rs 250 crore.
One of the key focuses of Prozo is enhancing its Same-Day and Next-Day Delivery (SDD & NDD) capabilities. This move is aimed at providing fulfillment solutions tailored for MSMEs and quick commerce brands, ensuring fast and efficient delivery services.
Prozo's warehouse management system (WMS) and transport management system (TMS) are integral parts of its offerings. The real-time control tower provides visibility and control across all sales channels, enabling trustworthy execution behind the scenes.
In addition to Ranbir Kapoor, investors such as Binny Bansal have also financially supported Prozo. The startup has raised $20 million from Sixth Sense Ventures and JAFCO Asia.
Ranbir Kapoor has witnessed great execution from Prozo and believes it builds trust. He is providing support for the startup's growth, as Prozo plans to expand its warehousing network into new cities and double down on automation and predictive analytics.
With its tech-driven solutions and strong backing, Prozo is set to reshape the supply chain landscape in India.
