Broadcasting giant, Sky Sports, unveils massive television lineup in preparation for the 2025/26 season
Sky Sports is set to revolutionise the way football fans experience the Premier League, with the announcement of a host of new features for the 2025/26 season.
Starting with Jamie Carragher's new analysis show, Extra Time, which will provide a comprehensive wrap-up of busy Sunday afternoons filled with multiple fixtures, Sky Sports is gearing up to deliver an unparalleled viewing experience.
The broadcaster has secured exclusive rights to broadcast at least 215 live Premier League matches, marking a significant leap from the 128 matches shown in the previous season. This new deal means Sky Sports will air more Premier League action than any other broadcaster, with at least four matches per week, including extensive coverage of weekend and midweek games [1][2][3].
Weekends after midweek European matchdays will see the introduction of Supersized Super Sundays, where up to four matches will be shown simultaneously on weekends.
But that's not all. Sky Sports is also launching Fanalysis, a groundbreaking feature that integrates fan analysis throughout its coverage across various media. Fanalysis includes supporter-driven player ratings and other fan perspectives, offering a unique insight into the thoughts and feelings of the audience.
To top it all off, Sky Sports is introducing Multiview, a multiple view feature that allows viewers to watch dynamic live coverage from all games at once, complete with dedicated commentary and analysis. This innovative feature promises to bring a whole new level of excitement to the Premier League viewing experience.
With these exciting new features, Sky Sports is set to redefine the way football fans engage with the Premier League, offering an immersive and interactive viewing experience like never before.
