Chemnitz Welcomes Da Nang Delegation to Boost Microelectronics and Startup Ties

Chemnitz rolled out the red carpet today as Mayor Ralph Burghart and Economy department head Silvana Bergk greeted a 14-strong delegation from Da Nang, Vietnam. The reception took place at the town hall, marking the start of a visit focused on microelectronics and startup collaboration.

The delegation, comprising high-ranking officials from Da Nang, is set to explore research institutes in Chemnitz. Top on the agenda is the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nanosystems (ENAS), a global leader in microelectronics research. This visit aims to foster ties between the two cities, with a particular emphasis on startup activities and technological innovation.
