Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded a contract by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) to design, manufacture, and supply 96 Metropolis metro cars for Chennai Metro Phase II. This project will span approximately 119km with over 76km elevated and 43km underground, making it easier for over 11 million citizens to travel around the city.
