Consumer Advice Center Launches Comprehensive ETF Investment Guide
The consumer advice center has launched a comprehensive guide, 'ETF as an Investment and Retirement Planning', to help investors navigate the world of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). This 256-page guide, priced at €28 for print and €22.99 for e-book, offers a detailed exploration of ETFs, their benefits, risks, and investment strategies.
ETFs, traded on stock exchanges, track specific indices like the DAX or S&P 500, providing a cost-effective way to invest in a diversified portfolio. Unlike mutual funds, ETFs allow buying and selling throughout the trading day.
The guide delves into wealth building, risks, and investment strategies with ETFs. It provides a step-by-step approach to selecting, purchasing, and managing ETFs. It also warns about potential pitfalls, costs, sales tricks, and unfair clauses in ETF investments.
In the first half of 2025, new business accounted for the majority of ETF investments in Germany, with €19.3 billion invested in equity ETFs.
The guide, available from the consumer advice center's shop, by phone, and in advice centers and bookstores, aims to empower investors with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions in the ETF market.
