Desk scheduling and processing solutions are now available from Extron, while Vanguard dvLEDs have achieved Quantum Ultra certification.
Extron Unveils New Audio and Video Solutions
Extron, a leading provider of professional AV technology, has announced several new products that are set to revolutionise the way institutions manage their audio and video systems.
The DMP 44 xi Digital Matrix Processor, a compact 4x4 audio mixer with digital signal processing, is one such innovation. The DMP 44 xi offers essential audio DSP tools for mixing, routing, and room optimization. With features such as gain, EQ, compression, level controls, high and low pass filters, parametric EQ filters, bass and treble shelving filters, compressor, limiter, and ducker, it provides a wide dynamic range and utilizes 24-bit audio converters with 48 kHz sampling to maintain audio signal transparency.
In the realm of video displays, Extron has certified several models from Vanguard and the Sentinel series. The Vanguard Axion Pro series dvLED displays have achieved Extron Quantum Ultra Certification, ensuring product compatibility. Similarly, the two Vanguard products approved in the Extron Quantum Ultra Certification Program are the Vanguard 4K and Vanguard 3G models, announced on September 19, 2025. These displays feature the Sentinel series processor.
Extron's TLS 300M Desk Scheduling Touchpanel is another noteworthy addition. This 3.5-inch portrait touchpanel, designed for placing on a flat surface, offers an intuitive interface and seamless integration with popular calendar services. It features a tough, scratch and smudge-resistant Gorilla Glass touchscreen and provides at-a-glance space availability with a red/green LED. The TLS 300M works with Extron Room Agent software, TouchLink Scheduling Panels, and the TLSI 201 Interactive Wayfinding Interface.
When coupled with Extron Quantum Ultra and Quantum Ultra II 8K Videowall Processors, the TAA-compliant display models have been certified for consistent, stable presentation of source content. Institutions can personalize their TLS 300M experience with customization options including light and dark themes, logo, background image, time and date formats, and overlay opacity.
Used in conjunction with the TLSI 201 Interactive Wayfinding Interface, the TLS 300M Desk Scheduling Touchpanel allows users to view real-time space availability, status, and location information using a centralized display. This makes it an ideal solution for hybrid corporate environments and educational institutions.
System designers can take comfort knowing that the image processing and display products have been tested together using established parameters, such as image acquisition, image stability, and EDID management. The TLS 300M is designed for quick and easy setup with no programming skills required.
The DMP 44 xi, with its versatile features, is ideal for presentation applications that require line level audio matrix mixing with DSP in a small form factor. With its ability to handle a variety of audio tasks, it is set to become a staple in many presentation settings.
These new innovations from Extron are set to streamline the management of AV systems, offering institutions a more efficient and user-friendly solution.
