Dubai's WETEX 2023: A Global Showcase of Sustainability and Innovation
Dubai is set to host the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) on Eventbrite from 30 September to 2 October. Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, WETEX 2023 promises to be a significant event in the sustainability and innovation calendar.
Spanning 95,000 square metres of exhibition space, WETEX 2023 will feature 3,100 companies from 68 countries. Eighteen international pavilions will showcase the latest advancements in clean energy, water, decarbonisation, green mobility, sustainable cities, green hydrogen, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. DEWA will offer exclusive tours of its Sustainability and Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park for exhibitors.
The event will include dedicated zones such as the Green Mobility Zone, the Health and Safety Hub, and the Delegation Zone. It will facilitate business-to-business and business-to-government meetings, along with over 135 specialised seminars and panel discussions featuring global experts.
WETEX 2023, with its extensive exhibition space and international participation, is expected to foster innovation and collaboration in sustainable practices. The event's diverse range of pavilions and dedicated zones reflect Dubai's commitment to driving progress in green technologies and sustainable development.
