Duke EMBA Classrooms Get AV Upgrade for Seamless Learning

Duke University's Fuqua School of Business has enhanced the learning experience for its Executive MBA students. The Glaxo and Executive Classrooms at the JB Duke Hotel have undergone significant audiovisual upgrades, featuring Extron's NAV Pro AV over IP for signal switching and distribution.

The JB Duke Hotel, owned by Duke University since 1989, serves as the venue for the Executive MBA program. The hotel's guest accommodations and the audiovisual capabilities of the Glaxo and Executive Classrooms are vital for delivering the program's teaching format. This format involves three-day weekend sessions on campus followed by distance sessions.

The recently installed audiovisual systems were designed, validated, and commissioned remotely by Extron using their NAV Pro AV over IP platform. Both classrooms now boast a back-stage tech booth housing central functions, including an 8x8 DXP HD 4K PLUS matrix switcher and NAV Pro AV over IP network components. The system was specified for its flexibility, allowing for seamless integration with the program's on-site and remote learning needs.

The Glaxo and Executive Classrooms at the JB Duke Hotel have been transformed with major audiovisual system upgrades, ensuring a top-notch learning experience for Executive MBA students. The Extron NAV Pro AV over IP system's flexibility and remote commissioning capabilities have been instrumental in achieving this goal.
