Conduct Secures $12 Million Seed Funding to Revolutionize Enterprise IT

In a significant move for the tech industry, London-based enterprise AI startup, Conduct, has successfully closed a $12 million seed round. The investment was led by Creandum, one of Europe's leading early-stage VC firms, with participation from Lucid Capital, Booom, angel investors from Palantir, Google DeepMind, Workday, and a senior leader from SAP.

Founded in 2024 by former Palantir leaders Jan Philipp Haas, Philipp Hoefer, and Henry Thompson, Conduct aims to modernize legacy ERP systems and achieve GDP-scale impact. The company's mission is shaped by their firsthand experience with the growing burden of legacy ERP on large organizations.

Conduct uses cutting-edge agentic AI to help organizations understand their own systems. Unlike traditional consulting projects that often fail or cause costly downtime, enterprises are looking for alternative solutions like Conduct. The platform reveals how even the most complex codebases operate and the business logic they contain.

Jan Philipp Haas, Co-founder and CEO of Conduct, stated, "Our AI agents significantly reduce the resource burden of software maintenance, allowing IT teams to focus on system innovation that drives revenue and productivity gains."

Conduct's platform lets organizations converse directly with their ERP systems, providing a more efficient and streamlined approach to managing complex IT infrastructures. This is particularly relevant as CIOs face high-stakes decisions about the future of their systems, with SAP's 2027 deadline for S/4HANA migration looming.

The high spending on IT maintenance in enterprises, which consumes approximately 3-4% of enterprise revenue, is not primarily due to new code generation. Instead, it's the need to manually understand complex systems spanning millions of lines of code that contributes to this high cost. Conduct's AI agents address this issue, making maintenance more manageable and efficient.

Conduct's broader vision is to remove structural barriers in enterprise IT that have long constrained innovation and revenue growth. By providing a more efficient and accurate way to modernize and extend ERP estates, Conduct is helping enterprises navigate the complexities of their IT landscapes and drive growth.

With this funding, Conduct is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the enterprise AI space, offering a much-needed solution to the challenges faced by businesses today.
