Enhanced Audio Performance from Triangle's New Speakers: Improved cabinet, crossover, and driver designs guarantee enhanced sonic precision.

Hey there! Triangle's newest standmount speakers, the Borea BR04, are out, and they're promising to take the performance of their Borea line to new levels. Inspired by the success of their 5-star Borea BR003, these babies aim for upgraded sound while keeping the signature qualities that have made the Borea series so popular.

The BR04 features a two-way driver system, with a 25mm silk-dome tweeter and a 16cm cellulose pulp mid/bass driver. The tweeter works in harmony with the redesigned mid/bass unit to deliver clear vocals and a natural warmth. Triangle's aim is to reduce distortion at higher frequencies and at louder volumes for better sound quality.

Another improvement is the redesigned front bass reflex port and a upgraded crossover. The speaker cabinets have been expanded and reworked for greater airflow optimization, aiming for a deeper, more controlled bass signature.

These new speakers offer double binding posts, allowing for bi-wiring and bi-amplification depedning on your needs. Expect them to excel at reproducing the timbres of human voices, making them ideal for home cinema use as well as traditional hi-fi setups.

The Borea BR04 are available now, priced at $624 per pair (further prices pending). If you're feeling fancy, you can grab them in chestnut, green, blue, light oak, ash black, or white.

We can't wait to see if the BR04 lives up to Triangle's promise of pushing the performance of their mid-price standmount speakers to new heights!

Oh, and if you were wondering about the BR003, it seems like the BR04 is an improvement upon the BR03 in terms of woofer size, cabinet size, and sound performance. The BR04 features a larger 6.5-inch EFS bass/midrange driver, a more refined tweeter, deeper bass extension, and improved frequency response. There are no significant aesthetic upgrades in the BR04, though, and it does come at a higher price point compared to the BR03. Just sayin'! :)
