Extron Unveils DTP3 T 202 EU/MK Transmitter & SMP 401 Media Processor for Enhanced AV Over IP
Extron has recently expanded its product range with two notable releases: the DTP3 T 202 EU/MK transmitter and the SMP 401 media processor. Both products showcase Extron's commitment to advancing AV over IP technology.
The DTP3 T 202 EU/MK is a versatile wallplate transmitter that supports 4K/60 4:4:4 signals and HDCP 2.3. It can send USB-C video, HDMI, audio, and control signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over shielded CAT 6A cable. This device is packed with integrator-friendly features like EDID Minder and bidirectional RS-232 pass-through.
The SMP 401, on the other hand, is a high-performance 4K/60 recording and streaming media processor. It can capture, switch, scale, and distribute AV sources and presentations. The SMP 401 supports up to five recordings and six streams concurrently, with three HDMI 2.0 inputs, two RTP/RTSP virtual inputs, and an optional 12G-SDI input.
Extron's latest releases demonstrate their commitment to improving network resiliency and compatibility. The DTP3 T 202 EU/MK and SMP 401, equipped with the NAV PURE3 codec, offer robust, pristine video over converged or isolated networks. These products are expected to enhance Extron's NAV Pro AV over IP Series and provide integrators with more options for AV signal management.
