Faymonville showcases MultiMAX and MAX Trailer low-loaders at the NUFAM 2025 event
New Lowloaders and Semi-Trailers Showcased at Nufam 2025
At the Nufam 2025 trade fair in Karlsruhe, several new lowloaders and semi-trailers are being exhibited, with a focus on sustainability and innovative design. One of the standout exhibits is the MAX Trailer brand, which is presenting a variety of models.
Faymonville, a well-known manufacturer, is showcasing two models from the MAX Trailer brand. The first is a 2-axle low loader named MAX510, which features a telescopic loading deck that can extend to a total length of 12,350 millimeters. The other is a 1+3-axle MultiMAX lowbed semi-trailer, known for its improved maneuverability and versatility.
The MultiMAX lowbed semi-trailer is equipped with a unique flip-tail ramp system, which is being exhibited with a new design at the trade fair. This system allows for single or double ramps and has a load capacity of ten tonnes, capable of being raised even when loaded. The ramps on the MultiMAX-Plus lowbed semi-trailer are designed to ensure improved maneuverability.
The MultiMAX lowbed semi-trailer's first axle is a steered leading axle, while the other three axles are hydraulically forced-steered. The MAX510 low loader, on the other hand, is equipped with pendle axles and features a detachable gooseneck. Both models have a construction height of 205 millimeters and an axle load of 12 tonnes.
The MAX510 low loader's steel structure is fully HRM-metallized, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The MultiMAX lowbed semi-trailer uses 450-millimeter-deep wheel recesses with covers and an excavator arm recess with a width of 750 millimeters. The stroke of the MAX510 low loader is 600 millimeters, and the steering angle is 60 degrees.
Goldhofer is also presenting a new, compact flip-tail ramp system for the 3-axle MultiMAX-Plus Lowbed Semi-Trailer at the trade fair. The company's 3-axle MultiMAX-Plus lowbed semi-trailer is also available, showcasing the versatility of the MAX Trailer brand.
The IAA Transportation 2024 trade fair, held earlier this year, also focused on sustainability. At that event, Faymonville showcased the MAX510 low loader, which is also available with three axles according to the company. The construction height and axle load remain the same, making it a versatile and efficient solution for various transportation needs.
Visitors to Hall 2, Stand C 207 at Nufam 2025 can see the MAX510 low loader and the MultiMAX lowbed semi-trailer in action. These innovative designs demonstrate the ongoing commitment of manufacturers like Faymonville and Goldhofer to creating sustainable and efficient transportation solutions.
