Firebreak's Top-Tier Weapons Ranking

Flaming Firebreak Weapon Tier List* ** (Inferno)* ** (Scorching)* ** (Torrid)* ** (Blazing)

Take a tour through the hottest guns in FBC: Firebreak, and you'll soon realize that some weapons are scorching hot, while others are just, well, disappointingly cold. To help you torch through the Hiss, we've gathered a list of the top guns, accompanied by our honest opinions on each. So grab your flame thrower, and let's dive in!

First off, there’s a common misconception that your starting weapon selection is tied to your chosen Crisis Kit. Don’t worry, firefighter, you've got the freedom to choose any of the three starting weapons – Revolver, Submachine Gun, or Double-Barrel Shotgun – in the loadout menu, no matter what kit you pick. To obtain more weapons, you'll need to track down samples by completing jobs and snagging documents, then use those tokens to unlock them in the requisition menu.

Speaking of the requisition menu, you can also upgrade existing weapons by unlocking their higher-tier versions in the subsequent pages. While some upgraded weapons offer significant improvements, the base versions of a few weapons can still handle their own on the battlefield.

FBC: Firebreak Weapon Tier List

Inferno (S-Tier)

S

Machine Gun

Machine Gun, Pump-Action Shotgun

  • Unlock: 🔥 Page 4

In a game that embraces headshots, both for your targets and their corpses, the Machine Gun's massive ammo capacity, along with its decent damage, makes it an excellent choice for taking down crowds of Hiss. Although it lacks the precision damage of the Revolver or Bolt-Action Rifle, it’s incredibly consistent and can keep firing for minutes on end, ensuring even powerful enemies won't put up much resistance if you focus their melon.

Pump-Action Shotgun

Revolver, Submachine Gun

Hiss invading your space, and you need to respond? The Pump-Action Shotgun is the jack-of-all-trades you've been looking for. Whether it's obliterating entire packs of Hiss or going toe-to-toe against tougher foes thanks to its high damage, you can rely on this beauty. Being able to reload a single shell at a time is a breeze, ensuring you can keep firing without a moment's hesitation.

B

Scorching (A-Tier)

Double-Barrel Shotgun

Revolver

  • Unlock: 🔥🔥🔥 Immediately Yours

C

The beloved Revolver is my go-to pick for a starting weapon. With a plethora of stopping power, even for hayseed’s like myself, it shines when landing headshots, which are as common as fiery infernos in Firebreak. Its primary downside is its relatively limited ammo reserve, but if you keep your eyes peeled and pocket a few extra rounds whenever possible, you should be golden.

Bolt-Action Rifle

Submachine Gun

  • Unlock: 🔥🔥🔥 Immediately Yours

If you're less confident in your ability to land those headshots with the Revolver, I’d suggest you take a long, hard look at the Submachine Gun. It's a crowd-pleaser, especially in close quarters, thanks to its high damage output that will mow through legions of smaller Hiss. While it doesn't shine as brightly against tougher targets, its consistent damage can still weaken them, making them an easier target for your Revolver or Machine Gun.

Torrid (B-Tier)

Double-Barrel Shotgun

  • Unlock: 🔥🔥 Immediately Yours

The Double-Barrel Shotgun may not pack a pernicious punch in damage, but with some thoughtful positioning and clever use of its scattershot pattern, you can take out multiple Hiss enemies in a single blast, and don't forget to mix in a few melee attacks for good measure. But remember, its limited ammo capacity is a major downside, especially in the heat of battle.

Blazing (C-Tier)

Bolt-Action Rifle

  • Unlock: 🔥 Page 1

With its slow reload time and lackluster performance in close-quarters combat, taking this painfully slow bolt-action rifle into a fast-paced game like Firebreak is just asking for a roasting. Even in more open environments with help from your team, the Bolt-Action Rifle is best left forgotten, especially when you have faster, more effective alternatives at your disposal.

Whether you prefer to play it cool with a steady hand or let loose with a flurry of fire, this tier list should help you set the game ablaze with the ideal weapons for your playstyle in FBC: Firebreak.

  1. In the midst of the game, the Machine Gun, a S-tier weapon in the Inferno category, is desirable due to its large ammo capacity and decent damage, making it effective against crowds of Hiss.
  2. The Pump-Action Shotgun, another A-tier weapon under Scorching, is a versatile choice, capable of obliterating Hiss packs and dealing high damage against tougher foes, with the ability to reload one shell at a time.
  3. The Revolver, immediately available and categorized as B-tier in the Torrid, is a reliable choice for starting weapons, offering stopping power that shines with headshots, despite its limited ammo reserve.
  4. The Bolt-Action Rifle, categorized as C-tier in the Blazing, is best avoided due to its slow reload time and ineffectiveness in close-quarters combat, particularly in a game like Firebreak.
