FlixTrain Expands Services: Now Offers Through Tickets to Fürth
FlixTrain has expanded its services, now offering through tickets that combine long-distance travel with regional connections. This new cooperation with the Germany-wide fare network (DTV) allows passengers to book a single ticket from Berlin to Fürth, with the journey split between FlixTrain and regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn or other partners.
Previously, reaching Fürth from other cities required separate tickets for different segments of the journey. Now, travelers can book a single through ticket, covering the entire trip from Berlin to Fürth. This new service is possible due to a collaboration between FlixTrain and the Germany-wide fare network, which includes 24 cities, including Fürth.
The booking process is simple: customers book their ticket via FlixTrain's platform, which now includes Fürth as a destination. FlixTrain handles the long-distance segment, while regional trains, operated by Deutsche Bahn or other partners, complete the journey to Fürth. This expansion benefits Fürth, as it gains visibility in the FlixTrain booking system, making it easier for travelers to reach the city.
With this expansion, FlixTrain has made traveling to Fürth more convenient. Through tickets, combining long-distance and regional travel, are now available. The entire journey from Berlin to Fürth can be booked via FlixTrain's platform, eliminating the need for separate tickets. This new service is a result of FlixTrain's cooperation with the Germany-wide fare network and its partners, including Deutsche Bahn.
