Global messaging company Infobip bolsters API standards on a worldwide scale with twin GSMA certifications.
Infobip Achieves Significant Milestone with Network API Certifications
Infobip, a leading global communications platform, has made a significant stride in the realm of network application programming interfaces (APIs) with the receipt of two new certifications from the GSMA. These certifications, for SIM Swap and Number Verification, are part of the CAMARA project and mark a significant milestone for Infobip and its telco partners worldwide.
Infobip's expertise in communication platforms as a service offering and extensive relationships with CSPs have positioned it as a frontrunner in network API solutions. The company's latest achievements demonstrate its commitment to advancing global standards for Network APIs through the GSMA Open Gateway initiative.
These new certifications are set to play a crucial role in combating fraud and improving digital trust and security within the banking industry. By utilising network APIs and reach channels like RCS, Infobip aims to provide businesses and developers with tools to speed up verification, reduce errors, increase conversions, and fight fraud.
In partnership with four major French mobile operators, Infobip has launched several CAMARA-compliant Network APIs. These APIs will help these operators achieve their own certifications as part of GSMA's global standardization efforts.
Infobip's success in Brazil is also noteworthy, having helped all Brazilian operators implement and market Number Verification, SIM SWAP detection, KYC, and device location APIs.
To further solidify its position in the industry, Infobip, GSMA, CAMARA, and Orange will co-host an Ideathon at Shift Zadar in Croatia. This event promises to bring together the brightest minds to discuss and innovate solutions for the future of network APIs.
The validation of Infobip's expertise in the field through these certifications underscores its position as a leader in network API solutions. As Infobip continues to push the boundaries of what's possible with network APIs, it looks set to continue shaping the digital landscape for years to come.
