The Fabryka Wełny Hotel & Spa, nestled just outside Łódź, Poland, tapped Kramer's signal management solutions for a complete AV transformation, aiming to boost guest experiences. With an ambition to deliver an intuitive, future-proof control system, the hotel sought to offer seamless connectivity, control management, and collaborative capabilities across nine conference rooms, a ballroom, a wedding hall, and a philharmonic hall.
Partnering with Modulit Solutions Polska, a Warsaw-based AV distributor and integration specialist, Kramer was their go-to choice to ensure the hotel's vision became a reality on schedule.
"Pivotal demands for the project included a solution for sending an AV signal among rooms, even over long distances or when the signal needs to be duplicated, driven, or reformatted," remarked Joseph Bouaniche, Kramer's regional sales manager. "The conference rooms also needed an intuitive collaboration system for end-users."
Beyond the Buzzword
Kramer's versatile and adaptable KC-BRAINware-25 control system was chosen to empower the hotel's IT team to effortlessly control all room actions from a single computer. Furthermore, Kramer's KDS-7 AVoIP Encoder, an advanced device for streaming 4K video signals via Ethernet, was selected to foster collaboration and capabilities in conferencing rooms.
Besides this system, Kramer's enterprise-level, cloud-based platform, Kramer Control, was implemented, offering IT/AV managers an easy way to control, monitor, and support all AV systems, infrastructures, and connected devices within conference rooms and event areas. This platform also allowed control of the presentation screen and even automated settings like lowering window blinds, lowering the projection screen, changing lighting scenes, and starting the projector with the push of a button.
"Considering the multiple rooms, the quick connection and splitting potential, and the client's expectations (automation and user-friendliness), we opted for the most suitable solution for AV content management: Kramer's AVoIP technology," shared Łukasz Trojanowski of Modulit Solutions Polska. "AVoIP also offers the flexibility for future changes, especially when it involves adding more terminals, either as signal sources or displays."

Following implementation, the hotel's AVoIP system maximized Kramer's technology by enabling simple point-to-point AV transmission, as well as one-to-many or one-to-all.
"Integrating Kramer's AVoIP, Kramer Control, and Kramer VIA with other AV system components is a breeze," explained Trojanowski. "Both users and venue staff love the background automation and the ease of adjusting system settings on the touch panel. Kramer's VIA has also received stellar feedback, allowing a user to wirelessly connect to the display system, projector, or screen from various devices like iPhones, Android devices, Windows laptops, or MacBooks."
