This guide will walk you through how to access Facebook Marketplace on your iPhone or iPad and start adding your items for sale, or find something you've been needing.

  1. Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the three-bar menu at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  3. Take a gander at Marketplace. It's usually located near the top of the menu; it's got a storefront icon in green and gray. If you don't spot it, give the 'See More' option a tap.
  4. Location, location, location. In Marketplace, you'll see items for sale near where you're located by default. If you want to change your location, tap your current location and select a new one.
  5. Get specific. Tap More to choose from various categories: items, vehicles, services, jobs, rentals, Facebook groups, and featured deals of the day.
  6. Check out listings. Tap on a listing to view more details about the item or service, including photos, description, pricing, location, and seller information.
  7. Start a conversation. When you're interested in an item, tap Ask for Details to message the seller. If you have a specific question or want to negotiate the price, tap Message to send a personalized inquiry.

  6. Upload photos. Add photos of your item or vehicle with the Add Photos button.
  7. Enter details. Fill out the form with a title, price, categories, and necessary info, ensuring that the location is correct.
  8. Hit the big button. Tap Publish to make your item visible in people's search results for items near you.
