Hero MotoCorp Sales Surge 8% in September 2025, Exports Nearly Double
Hero MotoCorp, India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has reported impressive growth in September 2025. The company's exports nearly doubled compared to the same period last year, reaching 39,638 units. Meanwhile, domestic dispatches also grew, totaling 6,47,582 units.
Hero MotoCorp's sales in September 2025 were robust. The company sold 6,87,220 units, marking an 8% increase from September 2024. This growth was driven by both motorcycle and scooter segments. Motorcycle units dispatched rose by 5% to 6,26,217, while scooter units surged by 54% to 61,003.
The company's electric vehicle subsidiary, Vida, also contributed to this growth. Vida registered 12,736 units in September 2025. This growth is particularly notable as Hero MotoCorp became the first Indian manufacturer to cross 125 million cumulative two-wheeler production in September.
Hero MotoCorp's Vahan registrations also showed strong growth, increasing by 19% year-on-year to 3,23,230 units. This indicates a healthy demand for the company's products in the Indian market.
Hero MotoCorp's impressive performance in September 2025 has positioned the company well for the rest of the fiscal year. Year-to-date dispatches for FY26 now stand at 30,57,772 units, marginally ahead of the corresponding period of FY25. With the successful launch of the new scooter brand 'Xoom 160' in India, the company is well-placed to continue its growth trajectory.
