Honda's First Electric Motorcycle, WN7, Unveiled in Europe
Honda has made waves in Europe by unveiling its first electric motorcycle, the WN7. Positioned in the 'Fun' segment, the WN7 is the production debut of Honda's EV Fun Concept and promises impressive performance.
The Honda WN7 boasts a fixed lithium-ion battery, offering an estimated range of over 130 km on a single charge. Despite being an electric vehicle, Honda claims its performance rivals 600cc petrol bikes in output and 1000cc machines in torque.
The WN7's styling is futuristic yet minimal, maintaining its naked streetfighter identity while embracing clean EV design. It comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT screen and smartphone connectivity through Honda RoadSync for navigation and ride data.
Honda has set the sale price of the WN7 in Germany at around 15,379 euros including delivery charges. It will be available from 2026, with pre-orders by November 4, 2025, including a free saddlebag as a bonus. The WN7 supports rapid charging via the CCS2 standard, charging from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes and taking under 3 hours for a full charge.
The Honda WN7 marks a significant milestone in Honda's global electrification journey, combining 75 years of motorcycling expertise with cutting-edge EV technology. While announced for Europe, India is expected to be a key market in Honda's electrification roadmap for the WN7.
