Investment firm Grip Invest introduces an automated Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) tool for reinvesting bond interest into debt mutual funds.

In a significant move for the investment industry, Grip Invest has unveiled a new product called 'Infinite', a fixed-income investment platform designed to revolutionise the way bond investors manage their returns.

The launch of Infinite aims to provide a seamless experience for fixed returns assets like bonds and Structured Debt Instruments (SDIs). By automating the reinvestment process, Infinite promises to solve the chronic pain point of reinvestment in fixed-return instruments.

Here's how Infinite works: Investors who opt for this feature on the Grip Invest platform earn monthly interest from their bonds or SDIs. Instead of manually reinvesting this interest, Infinite automatically directs these payouts into a curated list of high-quality debt mutual funds. This reinvestment happens via a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) on the platform, creating a seamless auto-compounding effect without any further action required by the investor.

The aim of Infinite is to generate up to 30% more returns for investors by making compounding a seamless experience for fixed returns assets like bonds and SDIs. There are no lock-ins or delays; the reinvestment is continuous and structured, making it efficient, especially for retail investors with small interest amounts.

The Jio Effect has resulted in the launch of five new low-cost index funds in the market, and Infinite continues this trend by offering a cost-effective solution for bond investors. Grip Invest claims that by reinvesting interest in debt mutual funds, bond investors may be able to earn 30% more returns.

Infinite can be activated at the time of purchasing a bond or through the investor's existing portfolio section on Grip's platform. Investors can withdraw reinvested funds anytime or direct them into another bond or SDI on the Grip platform.

Meanwhile, the Government of India may release the next tranches of Sovereign Gold Bonds, according to the Finance Ministry. Investors can subscribe to these tranches on the Grip platform, if available.

According to Nikhil Aggarwal, Founder & Group CEO of Grip, the reinvestment journey for bond investors is fragmented and inefficient, often resulting in silent value erosion over time. Aggarwal believes that Infinite is a response to this bottleneck, providing a solution that simplifies the reinvestment process and enhances returns for bond investors.

In a decade, the best Parag Parikh fund has multiplied investor money five times, demonstrating the potential returns that can be achieved with effective investment strategies. With Infinite, Grip Invest is offering bond investors the opportunity to tap into this potential and grow their wealth more efficiently.
