In the bustling streets of Kolkata, a brand is making waves in the world of Indian street food. Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti, founded by Deepak Kumar, is on a mission to modernize, hygienic, and scale the country's beloved street snacks while preserving their authentic taste.

The brand has recently caught the attention of some big names in the industry. Sagar Daryani, co-founder & CEO of Wow! Momo, and Abhishek Rungta, among others, have invested in Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti, joining forces to help the brand formalize India's favourite roadside flavours with the hygiene, consistency, and trust of a modern QSR chain.

Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti has already served over 2 lakh happy customers in Kolkata, where it currently operates 18 outlets. With the recent funding round of $230,000, the brand is set to scale 19 more outlets in the city.

The online food services industry in India is projected to double to $8 billion, and organized QSR chains account for less than half of the country's total eating-out spend. Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti aims to tap into this growing market, with plans to expand to 100 outlets across 6 metro cities within the next 2 years.

Local street food in India is a $20 billion+ unorganized opportunity, and Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti aspires to repeat the success story of Haldiram's in the street food space. The brand has already made a name for itself, maintaining good ratings on Swiggy and Zomato.

As part of its next growth funding round, Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti is in talks with strategic partners and institutional investors such as the local Chamber of Commerce, the Innovation Fund, and a regional venture capital firm.

With its commitment to quality, innovation, and growth, Wah! Puchka Wah! Litti is set to redefine the Indian street food landscape, one bite at a time.
