John Deere's European division welcomes a new leader as the current chairman takes up the post.

John Deere, the renowned agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer, has announced a series of changes in its leadership team. The changes aim to further strengthen the company's commitment to creating real value for customers worldwide.

In a significant move, Cory Reed will take up the position of public president for the business segment of Reed's new role will be as the public president of the aforementioned business segment at John Deere. This change is effective immediately. Reed's responsibilities will include business with smaller and compact tractors, hay and forage harvesting machines, and turf care equipment.

Justin Rose, on the other hand, will succeed Deanna M. Kovar as president of the "Compact Agriculture and Turf & Utility" business segment at John Deere. This change does not affect Kovar's leadership of the "Large Machines and Precision Agriculture" and turf and utility equipment segments, which remains with her until November 3, 2025. Rose's responsibilities will include business with John Deere's equipment and technology solutions in Europe, as well as the African and Asian markets.

Kovar will take over from Rose in the "Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Chain Management, and Customer Satisfaction" business segment at John Deere, starting from November 3, 2025. This segment includes the management of the company's supply chain and customer satisfaction initiatives.

The management shake-up at John Deere continues with Justin Rose succeeding Deanna M. Kovar as Europe CEO. In this role, Rose will be responsible for driving John Deere's Smart-Industrial strategy forward, with the goal of providing intelligent, connected machines and solutions for greater economic value.

Deanna M. Kovar will also take over the presidency of the "Large Machines and Precision Agriculture" business segment and the turf and utility equipment segments, starting from November 3, 2025.
