King Long Unveils MU12E Electric Citybus at Busworld Europe
King Long has unveiled the MU12E Electric Citybus at Busworld Europe. This new model, manufactured by MUV, promises enhanced safety and performance for urban transport.
The MU12E features a robust 32-bit dual-core VCU processor, enabling advanced safety measures like Electronic Acceleration Pedal Monitoring (EAPM), Electronic Parking System (EPS), and crawl control. It also boasts 360° Real-time Battery Safety Monitoring. The bus operates in a wide temperature range, from -40°C to 80°C, and its key components are protected with IPK6K9K rating.
Powering the MU12E is a 465.99 kWh CATL traction battery, providing an impressive range of up to 550km. The vehicle measures 12 metres in length, 2.5 metres in width, 3.3 metres in height, with a top speed of 90 km/h and a turning radius of 9.4 metres. Notable design elements include newly designed split headlights and USB ports at each seat for passenger convenience.
