India's leading law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), has announced a significant partnership with AI-powered legal platform, Legora. This strategic move marks a foundational shift in the Indian legal profession, as CAM aims to become an AI-first law firm.

In a comprehensive, multi-phase pilot program involving three generative AI platforms and 380 lawyers across its offices, CAM meticulously evaluated the usability, interoperability, efficiency, training, accuracy, and responsiveness to real-time legal use cases. The selection of Legora as its firm-wide AI platform demonstrates the unrivaled value it delivers, according to Legora CEO MaxJunestrand.

The partnership will see CAM and Legora working together to embed Legora's new market-first agentic Workflows product to orchestrate complex legal tasks. This collaboration aims to automate repetitive tasks, co-develop AI-powered client solutions, and solve practical legal use cases, leading to operational efficiencies and improved client service.

Rishabh Shroff, a partner at CAM, sees AI as an essential part of the future of legal practice.
