Li Auto, a NASDAQ-listed electric vehicle company, is set to launch its first pure electric SUV, the Li i8, in Beijing, China. The launch event will take place at 7 pm Beijing time today.

Before the launch, Li Auto had established a comprehensive supercharging network in China to support its electric vehicle lineup. As of now, the company has 16,523 supercharging stations in China, covering 258 cities across 31 provinces. Li Auto had previously committed to having more than 2,500 supercharging stations in China when the Li i8 goes on sale. Today, they have reached that milestone, ready for the Li i8 launch.

The Li i8 is Li Auto's second battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, following the Li Mega MPV. It is a six-seat battery electric family SUV, equipped with a 97.8-kWh ternary lithium battery that supports 5C charging. This technology allows the Li i8 to charge for 500 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes. The Li i8 has a CLTC range of up to 720 kilometers.

Pre-orders for the Li i8 began on July 17, and deliveries are set to begin in late August. The estimated price range for the Li i8 is between RMB 350,000 and RMB 400,000. The official price will be announced during the launch event later today.

With the launch of the Li i8, Li Auto aims to provide convenient charging solutions to its users, ensuring rapid charging capabilities nationwide. The extensive supercharging network, established before the Li i8's launch, will support the company's electric vehicle lineup and contribute to the growth of electric vehicles in China.
