The acquisition is seen by Echo’s leadership as a strategic fit to accelerate growth in the managed transportation space by combining FreightSaver’s rapid growth and customer focus with Echo’s multimodal freight brokerage platform, which connects over 35,000 customers with more than 50,000 transportation providers across North America.
By integrating FreightSaver, Echo plans to leverage its significant access to truckload capacity and advanced technology, including optimization tools and automation for data exchange, to enhance service offerings such as full truckload, less-than-truckload, expedited, and specialized freight shipments, managed transportation solutions with technology-enabled optimization, automating and streamlining transportation management via integration platforms, providing improved freight protection and enhanced client service through a tech-forward approach.
