The Thermalright HR-10 2280 Pro Digital SSD cooler, featuring an ARGB digital display, has made its way into some markets but is not yet available on Amazon US as of early August 2025.
This new cooler, designed for M.2 2280 drives, measures 3.56 x 1.02 x 2.01 inches (90.3 x 26 x 51 mm), making it approximately 16% taller than the original due to the addition of the digital display.
The HR-10 2280 Pro Digital requires a connection to your motherboard via a standard USB header and the installation of the Thermalright Control Center (TRCC) software. It also comes with a PWM fan, requiring a 4-pin fan header on your motherboard.
The cooler boasts four 5 mm copper heat pipes that transfer heat from your SSD to an aluminum heatsink, and a 30mm fan spinning between 3,500 and 6,500 RPM helps dissipate the heat. The digital display on the HR-10 2280 Pro Digital shows the SSD's operating temperature, sequential read and write speeds, or the drive's utilization.
Thermalright provides its Extreme Odyssey II silicon thermal pad, rated at 14.8 W/mk thermal conductivity, to fill the gap between the SSD and the cooler's cold plate. The HR-10 2280 Pro Digital comes with a limited one-year warranty.
For those eager to be early adopters, the HR-10 2280 Pro Digital can currently be purchased through AliExpress at a premium price. However, it is expected that Thermalright will list the product on Amazon and other stores in the US soon, though no exact date has been provided.
