Mazda Reports Mixed August 2025 Sales, Exports Fall; Arbe Wins Innovation Award
Mazda Motor Corporation has reported mixed results in its August 2025 sales and production figures. While domestic sales in Japan rose, exports and production numbers showed declines. Meanwhile, Arbe Robotics has been recognised for its innovative radar technology in the automotive industry.
Mazda's sales in Japan saw a slight decline to 9,926 units in August 2025, despite a significant drop in mini-car sales. Exports to North America and other markets also decreased, by 16% and 31% respectively. However, exports to Europe rebounded by 44% to 13,856 units. Looking at production, Mazda's domestic output decreased by 8% in the first eight months of 2025, while overseas production fell by 2%. Overseas production in August 2025 also declined by almost 9%, mainly due to a 25% drop in CX-30 output.
Mazda's August 2025 sales and production figures show a mix of increases and decreases, with domestic sales in Japan rising while exports and production numbers fell. The company's innovative radar technology, as demonstrated by Arbe Robotics, is expected to contribute to improved safety and performance in the automotive industry.
