Media Library's New 'Sort By' Feature Boosts Image Search
A new feature has been added to the Media Library, enhancing image search functionality. Users can now sort images by relevance, newest, or oldest after entering a search term.
The 'Sort By' option, introduced by three unnamed individuals, allows for more precise image filtering. It works in tandem with existing filters in the Media Library and Entry Editor. Here's how it works:
After entering a keyword, users can sort images in three ways. 'Sort by Relevance' displays images that best match the search term based on various criteria. 'Sort by Newest' prioritizes recently uploaded images that match the search term. Conversely, 'Sort by Oldest' shows images uploaded earlier in the library that match the search term.
The new 'Sort By' option in the Media Library provides users with more control over their search results. It complements existing filters and improves the overall search experience.
