Meet the Tiny 21 sq. ft. Four-Wheel-Drive RV for Overlanding Adventures
Levi Kelly, an avid explorer, has constructed a compact RV for overlanding adventures. Measuring just 21 sq. ft. (1.95 m) inside, it's one of the smallest four-wheel-drive RVs with a solar panel, wood stove, and gas cooker. Kelly aims to combine the luxury of an RV with the exploration possibilities of tent camping.
The RV, starting with a kei truck, is equipped with a 5-gallon (19L) water jug and a 7-gallon (26L) grey water tank. A pump draws drinking water from the jug to a working faucet, while a faucet-mounted sprayer can be routed outside for a makeshift shower.
The camper portion uses foam board insulation to maintain a comfortable temperature. A tiny wood stove provides heat, with an alternative fuel source for reliability. A solar panel on the roof charges the battery that powers the pump, ventilation fan, and other devices. Additionally, a small cabinet above the bed houses a portable toilet, and a bubble window allows for scenic views while using it.
Kelly's RV offers a unique blend of luxury and exploration. Its compact size and four-wheel drive make it ideal for overlanding, while amenities like the wood stove, solar panel, and portable toilet ensure comfort and convenience. Despite its small size, it packs essential features for off-grid adventures.
