Meta Unveils New AI Agent for Businesses, Streamlining Ads and Support
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has introduced a new AI agent for business customers. This agent, available for free on Meta Ads, aims to streamline the advertising process and enhance customer support. The tool is part of Meta's broader goal to automate the entire advertising production process.
The AI agent provides basic online customer support and product recommendations across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. Meta's ultimate goal is to expedite the process between customers discovering a news and completing a purchase.
Behind this new tool is Meta itself, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg spearheading the company's internal push for AI adoption and development. This initiative aims to support both employees and business functions. Starting Dec. 16, Meta will use individual users' interactions with its AI chatbot to personalize the ads and content recommendations they see on Facebook and Instagram.
In addition to the new AI agent, Meta is launching other AI tools for advertisers on Advantage+. These include AI-generated music, AI dubbing for translation, and AI-generated videos and images. Businesses can access these tools at a fraction of the cost of other solutions.
