Embrace the future as Wrocław introduces the first hydrogen-powered NesoBus! This eco-friendly marvel aims to improve air quality and provide a comfortable commuting experience for residents. Experience this zero-emission wonder for a month!

NesoBus, short for "Nie Emituje Spalin i Oczyszcza" (No Emissions and Cleans), sets the stage for sustainability and efficiency. The bus gobbles up around 8 kg of hydrogen per 100 km, storing a whopping 37.5 kg in its tanks, allowing it to travel a phenomenal 450 km on a single fill. Carrying up to 93 passengers, 37 of whom can enjoy a seat, it's the perfect blend of eco-friendliness and functionality.

Modern Perks and Environmental Impact

Equipped with modern goodies like wireless smartphone charging, NesoBus caters to the digital needs of passengers. The driver's cabin boasts a customizable console for seamless vehicle operation, elevating the driving experience. Hydrogen refueling at NESO stations takes just 15 minutes, showcasing the convenience and environmental advantages of this innovative technology.

Witold Woźny, President of MPK Wrocław, salutes the city's commitment to sustainable transport and enhancing the quality of life for residents. "The introduction of NesoBus signifies a significant leap forward in reducing harmful emissions and improving travel comfort and safety for our passengers," he said.

Made in Poland, Designed for Tomorrow

Manufactured in Świdnik by PAK-PCE Polski Autobus Wodorowy, a joint venture between Grupa Polsat Plus and ZE PAK, NesoBus marks a monumental leap in sustainable public transportation. This bus produces electricity by combining hydrogen with oxygen from the air, leaving only water and steam as byproducts.

Currently, Poland has two NESO hydrogen refueling stations in Warsaw and Rybnik, with more planned for Gdynia, Gdańsk, Lublin, and Wrocław. These stations cater to both public transport buses and private vehicles, prioritizing simplicity and accessibility.

The Future Awaits

In 2024, Wrocław joins the ranks of cities like Chełm, Sosnowiec, and Gdańsk in testing NesoBus. Trials have already been conducted in Gdynia, Warsaw, Rybnik, and Szczecin, paving the way for greater adoption of hydrogen-powered transport across Poland.

The NesoBus project reflects global trends towards green, sustainable urban mobility solutions, leveraging hydrogen fuel cell technology to combat the environmental impact of public transport and meet the growing demand for cleaner, renewable energy sources.
