Wildberries Marketplace Simplifies Logistics for Belarusian Entrepreneurs
In a move to attract more Belarusian entrepreneurs to its platform, Wildberries marketplace has expanded its logistics options and simplified conditions for selling on its online platform. As of September 18, 2022, local Belarusian entrepreneurs registered as sellers on Wildberries can now deliver goods directly to pick-up points.
To encourage Belarusian entrepreneurs to sell on its platform, Wildberries has reduced the registration fee from 1100 to 183 Belarusian rubles. This reduced registration fee also acts as an initial advertising budget, as the funds from the fee are credited as bonuses to the partner's advertising account on Wildberries. These bonus funds can be used to promote products on the Wildberries platform.
The option to deliver goods directly to pick-up points may attract more Belarusian entrepreneurs to use Wildberries for logistics, as it helps prevent logistics delays and provides more convenience. Sellers can deliver goods to pick-up points, in addition to warehouses and sorting centers on Wildberries.
In addition, the company recommends partners use alternative sorting centers in Brest, Gomel, Grodno, and Orsha instead of the overloaded center in Shchomyslitsa. This recommendation could help reduce congestion at the overloaded center and provide a smoother logistics process.
The expansion of logistics options and the reduced registration fee are intended to provide more convenience for Belarusian entrepreneurs on Wildberries. Minimizing costs is one of the reasons for allowing sellers to deliver goods directly to pick-up points on Wildberries. The reduced registration fee on Wildberries may also attract more Belarusian entrepreneurs to sell on its online platform, potentially leading to increased competition and increased product visibility on the platform.
