A unique collaboration between Nissan, renowned sushi chef Hiroyuki Terada, and master knifemaker Satoshi Kiryu has resulted in a sold-out, limited edition sushi knife. The Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife, a collector's item, has garnered attention from both automotive and culinary enthusiasts.
The knife, handcrafted by Kiryu in Niigata Prefecture, boasts a 210mm double-beveled blade. This design ensures clean, precise cuts, perfect for sushi preparation. The handle features a vibrant red stripe, paying homage to Nissan's high-performance Nismo division. Each of the 240 knives produced bears the iconic Z logo, Chef Hiro's name, and Kiryu's insignia, making it a true collector's item.
The Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife was available from Nissan Nismo Parts in the US for NZ$525. Both Chef Hiro and Kiryu, principal knifemaker at Kiryu Knives, are avid Nissan sports car fans, which inspired this unique collaboration.
The sold-out Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife, a fusion of automotive and culinary craftsmanship, is now a sought-after collectible. With only 240 pieces produced, it pays tribute to the classic Nissan 240Z (Fairlady) and the artistry of both Chef Hiro and Satoshi Kiryu.
