In the world of smartphones, August 20 is a date to watch as Google prepares to unveil the latest addition to its Pixel family - the Pixel 10. This new device promises to bring a fresh perspective to mobile photography, with its triple-camera setup and advanced AI capabilities.
The Pixel 10 is set to boast a 48MP wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The Pro variants of the Pixel 10 will feature higher-resolution cameras, capable of up to 100x zoom, and enhanced AI imaging.
Comparatively, the iPhone 17, due for release around the same time, is rumoured to have a dual rear-camera setup, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 sports a trio of rear cameras. The main wide camera on the Pixel 10 matches the iPhone 17's 48MP resolution, but the Galaxy S25 edges ahead with a 50MP sensor.
The Pixel 10 stands out with its strong zoom capabilities, surpassing the Galaxy S25’s 3x zoom, and offering competitive main camera specs. And for those who appreciate a solid overall system, the Galaxy S25 remains a reliable choice, albeit with less telephoto zoom reach than the Pixel 10.
