ProFM's BAScloud Unveils Virtual Twins for Building Data Visualization
ProFM's BAScloud, a platform for managing building data, has seen a significant upgrade. Until recently, it was used mainly for collecting and processing technical data. Now, it's set to offer visualisation of building data as virtual twins, thanks to a collaboration between ProFM Facility & Project Management and DiConneX.
DiConneX, a company specialising in spatial representation, will create virtual models of buildings using 3D point clouds and 360° images. This will allow users to visualise and interact with building data in the BAScloud in a whole new way.
Previously, visualisation of building data in the BAScloud was not possible. It was primarily used for collecting, archiving, and processing technical building data. However, with this new collaboration, users can expect a more immersive and intuitive experience when working with building data.
While specific details about which companies might be involved in future projects are not yet available, it's clear that this collaboration between ProFM and DiConneX marks a significant step forward for the BAScloud. Users can look forward to more interactive and visual ways of engaging with building data in the future.
