Record-breaking June revenue reported by Foxconn, a leading global electronics manufacturer.
In a recent financial report, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co (Foxconn) has announced strong growth in the second quarter of 2025, with sales reaching a record high of NT$1.797 trillion (approximately $55.2 billion). This impressive figure represents a 15.8% year-on-year increase in revenue.
The growth was driven by several key factors. Hon Hai's cloud and networking division experienced its strongest growth ever, fueled by soaring demand for AI servers and high-performance computing infrastructure. This growth is attributed to enterprises scaling up AI investments worldwide, boosting shipments of AI server components and systems integrated with chips from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel.
The company's strategic positioning in AI and premium smartphones also played a significant role in its growth. As a key supplier to major cloud providers and chipmakers, Hon Hai is well-positioned to capture the growth from the AI-driven surge in data center hardware, alongside sustained strong demand for Apple iPhones.
Hon Hai’s smart consumer electronics segment also saw year-on-year growth, boosted by launches of new entertainment products by global brands. However, this growth was somewhat moderated by exchange rate fluctuations.
The first half of 2025 saw nearly a 20% increase in sales, reflecting strong market appetite for AI applications and cloud infrastructure. Ennoconn Corp, Hon Hai's industrial computer subsidiary, reported a 7.8% year-on-year decline in sales last month, totaling NT$11.35 billion. Despite this, the company expects continued improvement in the third quarter, fueled by seasonal demand within the information and communications technology sector, despite short-term headwinds like currency fluctuations and inventory adjustments.
In addition to its strong financial performance, Hon Hai also plans to enhance its global presence and regional management strategies to further drive growth in the second half of the year. The company anticipates stronger collaboration with international partners to achieve stable growth.
