In a bid to address challenges with oiling cheese moulds, a cheese factory has partnered with Spraying Systems Co. to install a new, advanced oiling system. The outdated boom regulation system was causing issues, leading to inefficiencies and excessive oil consumption.

The new system, which includes the AutoJet® F1850+ spray controller, a hygienic header, and a 20L pressure tank, promises to revolutionise the factory's production process. This precision automated solution offers more controlled spray application, reducing oil consumption by an impressive 30%.

The AutoJet® F1850+ controller is a game-changer, ensuring a reduced amount of oil flow by spraying only when necessary. This precision helps to minimise wasteful overuse of oil, thereby conserving resources and enhancing sustainability.

The new system is equipped with 16 air atomising spray guns, allowing the customer to select from three different nozzle numbers to match the mould dimensions. Each mould is sprayed accurately, eliminating overspray, and the nozzles are precisely positioned to ensure every mould receives the right amount of oil.

The new system also addresses safety concerns. Electrical cabinets near the spray zone are now protected from potential damage, and the air control cabinet creates a more secure environment for users around the spray zone. The lubrication room, which was previously filled with excessive mist and lacked a mechanism to stop the spray between moulds, is now cleaner and safer.

Moreover, the new system can handle different kinds of mould sizes, making it a versatile solution for the cheese factory. It also provides a certified food contact installation, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

The installation of the new system has led to a more efficient production process overall. Easy demoulding is now possible due to the accurate oiling of empty moulds before adding cheese ingredients. The new system also eliminates oil buildup on the floor, reducing the need for frequent cleaning.
