Renovated Bath Gem Unveiled: Introducing No.15 Great Pulteney Street by GuestHouse

No.15 Great Pulteney in Bath, a historic hotel, is set to reopen in May under new ownership as No.15 Great Pulteney by GuestHouse. This iconic establishment, now part of the newly founded British hospitality brand, GuestHouse, promises a unique blend of heritage and modernity.

The hotel's interiors have been tastefully redesigned by acclaimed designer Martin Hulbert, who also designed the original interiors. Rooms and communal areas draw inspiration from Bath's racy past, the powdered chalky complexions of the Georgian gentry, and Jane Austen's favorite color, powder blue. Each GuestHouse hotel will have its own unique character and appeal, reflecting the city it's set in, but will share a sense of bonhomie and five core values: indulgence, happiness, wonderment, hereness, and realness.

GuestHouse, led by three brothers, aims to inject color and creativity into best-of-British cities through a series of heritage hotels with a modern outlook. The first hotel in GuestHouse's hotel family, No.15 Great Pulteney, offers a variety of celebratory packages.

For lovers of the costume drama 'Bridgerton', the 'Basking in Bridgerton' package starts from £726 and includes a two-night stay, breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, and a walking tour of Georgian spots in Bath where it is shot. Foodies can indulge in the 'Flavour Hunters' package, starting from £760, which includes a two-night stay, meals, gin or whisky tasting, and an immersive experience with local makers in Bath. For those seeking a rejuvenating escape, the 'You Time' package starts from £826 and includes a two-night stay, meals, a spa treatment, yoga/Qi Gong/Cardio session, sound bath, and Shinrin-Yoku experience.

Guests and locals can enjoy crafted cocktails and cosy fireside night-caps in the sociable bar at No.15 Great Pulteney by GuestHouse. The hotel's restaurant showcases Chef Matt Gillard's 'Wild British' cuisine, which champions the best local produce, meat, and fish.

Room rates at No.15 Great Pulteney by GuestHouse start from £162 on a room only basis. To book a room or package, visit the GuestHouse website at www.guesthousehotels.co.uk. No.15 Great Pulteney by GuestHouse can also be followed on social media at @guesthousehotels.

With the acquisition of No.15 Great Pulteney, GuestHouse has plans to expand, with outposts in York and Brighton set to open in autumn 2021 and 2022, respectively. The spa in the hotel's basement, with six tranquil treatment rooms and eco-conscious, made-in-Britain products from Pinks Boutique, is just one of the many amenities that make No.15 Great Pulteney by GuestHouse a must-visit destination.
