Rivian reveals American pricing for R1T and R1S models, set for 2026 release.

The much-anticipated 2026 Rivian R1T pickup and R1S SUV will soon be available in Canada, with deliveries scheduled to begin later in July 2025. The eagerly awaited Quad-Motor models are set to start at approximately C$190,990 for the R1T and C$201,990 for the R1S.

Both vehicles come equipped with second-generation quad-motor setups, offering impressive performance. The R1T can accelerate from 0-60 mph in an astonishing 2.5 seconds, while the R1S follows closely behind with a time of 2.6 seconds. Both vehicles can complete a quarter mile in 10.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 mph.

The Quad-Motor setup delivers a combined output of 1,025 horsepower and 1,198 lb-ft of torque. Rivian's Max Pack battery powers these vehicles, offering an estimated range of up to 374 miles on EPA ratings, or around 400 miles in Conserve mode.

The Launch Edition variants of these models will feature upgraded interior trims, such as Brown Ash Wood, Driftwood, or Walnut Wood, and reintroduce the signature Launch Green paint.

Rivian has confirmed the adoption of Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) port on all 2026 vehicles, enabling seamless compatibility with Tesla Superchargers. The destination and freight charge for the 2026 models remains at C$1,895.

Pricing for the 2026 Rivian models in Canada will be announced closer to the launch, expected to be in the late summer or early fall. The top-end 2026 R1S Tri-Motor variant is priced at C$207,990, while the 2026 R1T Tri-Motor variant is priced at C$106,990.

The Dual-Motor Standard models for both vehicles have seen a slight increase in price, with the R1T starting at C$70,990 and the R1S starting at C$76,990. Most trims of the 2026 models have a price increase of C$1,090 compared to the 2025 model year.

Rivian continues to offer a $5,000 Performance Upgrade for the Dual-Motor variants. The Quad-Motor R1T and R1S have not had any pricing or specifications revealed by Rivian as of yet.

The Quad-Motor R1T and R1S may feature exclusive styling for the most powerful variant, as showcased by the teaser of the Quad-Motor R1T, which features 22-inch Ultra High Performance wheels, Launch Green paint, and teal-colored "Quad" badging.
