**Pony AI Expands Autonomous Driving Services in Luxembourg**

Pony AI, a leading autonomous driving company, has taken a significant step in expanding its operations in Europe by partnering with Emile Weber, a prominent mobility services provider in Luxembourg. The collaboration marks the beginning of Pony AI's overseas business expansion, starting with robotaxi road tests in Luxembourg.

The partnership was announced in a press release, with Pony AI establishing its European R&D center in Luxembourg in September 2024, focusing on advanced autonomous driving technologies. On October 23, 2024, Pony AI signed a memorandum of understanding with Emile Weber for the development and deployment of robotaxis. Pony.ai Europe secured a scientific testing permit from Luxembourg’s Ministry of Mobility and Public Works for Level 4 autonomous driving.

The initial testing will take place in Lenningen, with plans to expand to other areas in the coming months. Over the past two years, Pony AI has completed over 500,000 hours of fully autonomous driving tests across diverse scenarios, accumulating over 45 million kilometers of autonomous driving test mileage globally.

Emile Weber, with over 150 years of operational history, offers services such as public and private transportation, taxi operations, vehicle rentals, and tourism services. The partnership aims to integrate autonomous driving technologies into Luxembourg's transportation network, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

The collaboration is part of Luxembourg's strategy to become a pioneering hub for future-oriented mobility solutions in Europe. Pony AI is working closely with multiple Luxembourg public institutions and commercial partners to jointly establish technical and policy frameworks.

In June 2025, Luxembourg's Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Yuriko Backes, and Minister for the Economy, Lex Delles, visited Emile Weber to observe the progress of the autonomous mobility project. They witnessed the vehicles in operation and highlighted the importance of defining operational design domains (ODD) for autonomous vehicles.

Pony AI (NASDAQ: PONY) has an operational network spanning over 2,000 square kilometers across four cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In addition to Luxembourg, Pony AI is also expanding its autonomous driving business in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore.

James Peng, co-founder and CEO of Pony AI, stated that the tests in Luxembourg mark a new chapter in Pony AI's collaboration with European partners. Pony AI plans to deepen its cooperation with Emile Weber and expand its autonomous driving services to more regions in Luxembourg within the coming months.
