Samsung's upcoming models, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Flip 7, and Galaxy Watch 8, have experienced leaks disclosing their features, but their pricing remains undisclosed.
Samsung is set to unveil its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, at its Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 9, 2025. The tech giant has also announced updates to its smartwatch line, including the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 promises a sleeker design, with a 216-gram weight - lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra - and a 8.9mm thickness when folded, reducing to 4.2mm when unfolded. The device will feature larger displays, with a 6.5-inch exterior display and an 8-inch main panel. Under the hood, it will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and is expected to launch with Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. The camera specifications are yet to be disclosed, but rumours suggest a main sensor of 200MP. The battery capacity is 4,000mAh, and regional differences will apply to storage options, including a 1TB model in certain areas.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7, while maintaining a similar design philosophy, features a slimmer chassis when unfolded, albeit by only 0.4mm compared to its predecessor. Specific display and battery specs have not been detailed, but it is expected to follow upgrades consistent with the Snapdragon 8 Elite and new design elements alongside the Fold 7.
Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more affordable version of the Flip 7. The FE model will boast a 6.9-inch internal display and a 4,300mAh battery, larger than the Fold 7. Storage options will include 256GB and 512GB variants, and front-facing camera specs will range from 10MP to 12MP depending on the model.
In the wearable sector, Samsung has confirmed a redesign with new features for the Galaxy Watch 8 series, although specific details are scarce. The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will sport a new blue-on-gray appearance, a more subtle update from the original's bright orange band. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is expected to include a rotating bezel, as mentioned in its marketing materials.
