Saxx Debuts Metaverse Retail Space Highlighting Fresh Line of Products
Saxx Launches Metaverse Shopping Experience for DropTemp Collection
Men's underwear brand Saxx has taken a bold step into the virtual world, partnering with Emperia to create a metaverse shopping experience for its new DropTemp collection.
The virtual store offers a unique way for the brand to connect with its customers, providing an immersive experience that brings the DropTemp technology to life in an unexpected setting.
The DropTemp collection, which includes swimwear, long and short sleeve tops, hoodies, polos, and underwear, features proprietary technology that wicks sweat and evenly distributes moisture across the fabric. This technology was tested by the Hohenstein Group, a third-party testing facility in Germany, and was found to outperform competitors in a test using a WATson device that measures a textile's ability to evaporate and cool.
Saxx's virtual store is not available on Roblox for direct product purchases like brands such as Pacsun, H&M, and Gap. Instead, customers can visit the metaverse store to view and learn about the DropTemp collection.
Emperia, the virtual experience developer for Saxx's metaverse store, has also worked with other notable brands such as Walmart, Google, Gentle Monster, Tatcha, Bloomingdale's, and Lacoste. The company has been assisting various brands in launching metaverse spaces.
Saxx's CEO, Wendy Bennison, expressed her excitement about this new venture, stating that the virtual store is an exciting step for the brand. All tops in the Saxx virtual store feature UPF 50 and are designed for water wear, making them perfect for summer activities.
In addition to Saxx and Tatcha, other brands that have partnered with Emperia for metaverse shopping experiences include Walmart, Google, and Gentle Monster. Other brands have also been experimenting with virtual worlds and the metaverse by working with companies like Digital Village and Roblox.
Customers can still purchase Saxx products directly from the brand's website. The Saxx virtual store in the metaverse is just another innovative way for the brand to reach its customers and showcase its latest products.
- Saxx's CEO, Wendy Bennison, highlighted that the brand's new Metaverse store, engineered by Emperia, extends beyond product purchases, offering an immersive fashion-and-beauty lifestyle experience, showcasing the DropTemp collection's unique features in a tech-centric setting.
