Science Slam SUSTAINABILITY Vol. 2 Returns to Wuppertal

The Science Slam SUSTAINABILITY Vol. 2 is set to return to Wuppertal on November 18, 2025, after a successful debut in 2023. This unique event combines scientific research with engaging and entertaining presentations, all focused on sustainability.

Organized by the Wuppertal Institute, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, and the Pina Bausch Center 'under construction', the event will take place at the future Pina Bausch Center. The evening will explore pressing research questions, such as the impact of industrial policy on microplastics in the blood and strategies to make climate protection appealing in municipalities.

Each speaker, a young researcher, will have 10 minutes to present their findings. They are encouraged to use visualizations, props, and performance elements to make their talks engaging and understandable. The audience will then vote for the best presentation.

The Science Slam SUSTAINABILITY Vol. 2 promises to be an enlightening and entertaining evening. It's free to attend, but registration is required. Mark your calendars for November 18, 2025, at 6 PM at the future Pina Bausch Center in Wuppertal.
